A commemoration of the Srebrenica genocide victims is being held at the Potocari Memorial Center, the day before the collective funeral and burial of the remains of 14 more identified victims. The coffins with the remains were transported to Potocari on Tuesday, where the families will place them in the grave for eternal rest. The Ambassador of the United States to BiH, Michael Murphy, is in Potocari again this year, where he joined the survivors in seeing off the victims and paying their respects.
Previously, Ambassador Murphy, together with citizens and representatives of the international community, paid tribute to the genocide victims during their passage through Sarajevo.
"The United States of America continues to support all those in BiH who are still looking for their loved ones lost in the genocide in Srebrenica and the 1992-95 war," Murphy said on that occasion.
This year, 14 more genocide victims will be buried at the Srebrenica Memorial Center.
