Dr Nakamura was invited by prominent Banja Luka cardiologist Aleksandar Lazarevic, who highlighted that in Japan, where Dr. Nakamura hails from, there are 6,000 interventional cardiologists, and Dr Nakamura is regarded as the top expert in the field.
“He came at no cost, brought his own equipment, and used materials today that we might not have for several years. He generously shares his knowledge, trains young doctors, and it is truly an honour to have such a distinguished expert in Prijedor,” Lazarevic stated.
Miroslav Bjelic, director of the Prijedor Hospital, emphasized the importance of Dr. Nakamura’s visit to their institution.
“For about a year now, our cardiologists have been performing procedures, and this is certainly an opportunity for them to further hone their skills,” Bjelic remarked.
Professor Dr. Nakamura shared that whenever he performs complex procedures, he always considers the patients’ families and those who care about them.
“I take great pleasure in sharing the techniques I’ve learned with colleagues worldwide. I’m happy to visit and offer my help,” Nakamura said.
