At the beginning of April, the BiH Prosecutor's Office filed a complaint with the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor against Čampara while he was still serving as a state prosecutor.

At that time, a prosecutor was assigned to examine whether his conduct contained elements of criminal offenses.

A few days later, Campara submitted his resignation to the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC). He declined to comment on the reasons for his resignation.

It was previously unofficially confirmed for Detektor by the Prosecutor’s Office that Campara had been ''removed'' from the case concerning the attack on the constitutional and legal order, in which the suspects are the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, RS Prime Minister Radovan Viškovic, and the Speaker of the RS National Assembly Nenad Stevandic.

A Detektor source from the Prosecutor's Office stated that an investigation has been launched to determine whether Campara engaged in any obstruction in the case against Dodik and the others.

The Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor previously neither confirmed nor denied whether proceedings were underway against Campara, citing ''restrictions prescribed by special regulations relating to certain categories of information and data''.
