Dodik says BiH's RS entity is prepared to explore strategic minerals partnership with Hungary and the U.S.

"We are proposing cooperation and partnership. We already have proven friends and partners in the world. We have Russia, China, Hungary... Now we are looking for a partner in the United States of America," he said in the National Assembly of this Bosnian entity.

He emphasized that "we are seeking the America that once was – and that it can be again."

"Not as an adversary. Not as an occupier. Not as an arbiter. But as a guarantor of peace, a partner in development, and a protector of our sovereignty," Dodik stated, reminding that the United States played a key role in bringing about the Constitution of BiH and the Dayton Peace Agreement.

He pointed out that it is well known that the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump prioritized securing critical mineral supply chains through partnerships with friendly countries.

"That’s why today, for the first time, I publicly declare: Republika Srpska is ready to explore a partnership in the field of strategic minerals with Hungary and the United States," he said, stressing that extensive geological research in recent years has confirmed that "RS lies on vast reserves of critical minerals – including lithium, boron, strontium, sodium, and potassium."

"These are not ordinary minerals, but strategic resources. They are essential for electric vehicles, defense systems, energy storage, and advanced technologies – here, in America, in Europe, and across the world," Dodik added.
