Dodik says he will not attend Putin's inauguration

Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik said he will not be able to attend the inauguration of Russia’s President, Vladimir Putin, in Moscow on May 7 because he has a religious ceremony he will be attending.

Serbian media earlier today reported that their President, Aleksandar Vucic, told media he did not yet receive an invitation to attend the inauguration like Dodik did, but that he hopes he will soon.

“I have a Slava (Serbian Orthodox Christian ceremony),” he said, and that “as every good host and Serb, I will stay here.”

He would not comment on reports in Serbia that Putin invited him and not Vucic.
