The Croat Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) Leader Dragan Covic said the Croat people cannot be divided, regardless of how much Sarajevo tried to divide them. The message is clear, the Croat people are a political people and no decision can ever be made without them.
His comments came during the celebration of the HDZ BiH anniversary in the town of Zepce, central Bosnia. He said the only way to achieve institutional equality and to guarantee the election of legitimate representatives of the Croat people is for HDZ BiH to win the election.
“Even though we have more than enough arguments on our side, the numerical equality in the Government is extremely important in areas which are of strategic interest to us, such as Zepce and the entire Central Bosnia, where we must reorganize ourselves,” Covic said. “This is our land and Bosnia and Herzegovina is our homeland. We want to live here with all the support we’ve had and will continue to have from the Republic of Croatia,” Covic said.
“Every election, just like the upcoming October election, is a historic election and will continue to be historic election as long as we are not equal to other peoples, because we are the least numerous people and our struggle will last until we achieve absolute equality in every part of Bosnia,” concluded the HDZ BiH Leader and Bosnia’s Presidency member.
