State police has arrested war crimes suspect Sladjan Pajic in the eastern town of Vlasenica on Tuesday. The order came from Bosnia's Prosecutor's Office, which accuses him of wartime rapes and the torture of Bosniak civilians in 1992.
Pajic, who was born in the Serbian town of Loznica in 1970, is accused of repeatedly raping two female Bosniak civilians, one of whom was a minor. The charges also say he tortured Bosniak wartime prisoners in the area of Vlasenica during this time.
