World media mark the death of Hatidza Mehmedovic

The New York Times recalled that her husband, two of her sons and a brother were among the 8,000 Muslim men and boys who were killed during July 1995.

 The Independent Ireland wrote: "The Mothers of Srebrenica group has fought for those responsible for the killings to be brought to justice."

The Remembering Srebrenica from the UK also remembered Mehmedovic and her bravery:
