
A former soldier of Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, suspected of war crimes will spend three months in custody in Belgrade after the police arrested him over the weekend, the Fena news agency reported on Thursday.

Husein Mujanovic is kept in custody to prevent his escape, police have said.
Bosnia’s consul in Belgrade Miroslav Kojic confirmed that Mujanovic, suspected of war crimes in Sarajevo’s suburb of Hrasnica and Sokolovic Kolonija, during the 1992-1995 armed conflict, was arrested and kept in custody.
Serbia’s police apprehended Mujanovic, who reportedly holds Bosnia's and Montenegro's citizenship, on a border crossing between Bosnia and Serbia on a warrant issued in Belgrade.
His further legal status will be decided after three months.
