The Velika Kladusa police searched seven locations in this Northern-most town of Bosnia, that were used by migrants on their way to Western Europe. The police said they found 48 illegal migrants.
Conducting the “Migrant” operation, the police searched seven abandoned facilities where they found 48 illegal migrants. Eighteen migrants had confirmation documents that they expressed the intention to request an asylum in the country, one migrant possessed the asylum-seeker card, while 29 of them had no documents.
The police said they documented all the migrants and submitted the necesary documentation to the Foreigners Affairs Service, and other institutions.
In the coming period, the police said they plan to conduct related activities within the “Migrant” operation in order to maintain the favourable security situation in Velika Kladusa and Bihac, where most migrants are located because of the towns’ vicinity to the Croatian border.
