A senior US diplomat on Tuesday called the authorities in Pristina to revoke the 100 percent tariffs on goods from Serbia because they represent an obstacle to the dialogue with Belgrade.
Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Mathew Palmer said that Washington strongly supports the European Union facilitated Belgrade-Pristina dialogue to resolve the Kosovo issue and added that the US want to see an agreement reached to fully normalize relations, opening the door to the EU for both Serbia and Kosovo.
“That agreement would promote stability and peace in the entire region,” he said.
