Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj confirmed his unyielding stand on the 100 percent tariffs on goods from Serbia at a meeting of leaders of the ruling coalition, the Kosovo state TV (RTK) reported on Wednesday.
Haradinaj called for the meeting with Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseli, Social Democrat Initiative leader Fatmir Limaj and AZBK leader and Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli.
None of the participants made statements to the media after the meeting.
A Kosovo government press release said they discussed key aspects of the platform for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue which is expected to be adopted by parliament soon. It added that the leaders of the ruling coalition agreed to “coordinate decisions with strategic partners – the United States and European Union”.
Pristina has been under growing pressure to revoke the 100 percent tariffs on goods from Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina with some demands to revoke or suspend the tariffs for 120 days coming from within the ruling coalition.
