Heavy rains caused the rivers of Una and Krusnica in the north-west of Bosnia to flood some areas of Bosanska Krupa Municipality, on Monday evening, the Civil Protection Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) entity said.

Krosnica river flooded some arable land and agricultural fields, threatening to flood houses and other facilities in the vicinity, but the biggest problem right now is the four landslides in the Municipality.

For this reason, the Municipal Civil Protection HQ declared the state of natural disaster and all available forces are on standby.

The central-Bosnian town of Zavidovici reported several floods caused by clogged drains which are now threatening to flood homes.

Perhaps the most alarming situation is in the area of Zepce, near Zavidovici, where a local river had cut off a road in Bljuva village, where the regional portal, Zepce.ba recorded a short video of a man saying he is unable to get near his house.

“That is my home. How do I get to it, I wonder,” the man asked.
