Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik denied on Tuesday recent allegations from an article in 'Die Welt' that said Russia intends to set up a military base in Republika Srpska (RS), the Serb-dominated semi-autonomous part of the country.

“That is a total and absolute lie. Some are trying to damage Republika Srpska with lies. They wrote such things before as well, and it proved to be untrue,” he told Serbia’s ‘Alo’ newspaper.
