Castle Ostrozac – a view into Bosnia's rich past

Castle Ostrozac sits on top of a hill for centuries, overlooking the nearby village and bearing witness to the numerous religions, cultures and ideologies which swept through the area in its rich history.

The castle was built during the 16th century, as the Ottoman Empire established its Bosnian province.

Then, in the early 20th century, a member of the Habsburg family during the Austro-Hungarian rule over the country.
