Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev has arrived in Belgrade where he will discuss various bilateral issues regarding trade and the economic, cultural and humanitarian relations between Russia and Serbia with President Aleksandar Vucic and PM Ana Brnabic, as well as attend the marking of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Belgrade.
The Russian PM will attend ‘Freedom 2019’, a demonstration of the capabilities of Serbia’s Army, together with Vucic at the military airport ‘Colonel-pilot Milenko Pavlovic’ in Batajnica.
He will then be ceremonially welcomed at the Palace of Serbia and meet with Brnabic and Vucic where they will sign documents and agreements.
Medvedev and Brnabic will lay wreaths at Belgrade Liberation Memorial Cemetery and at the Red Army Monument. The Russian PM is also scheduled to address deputies in the National Assembly House and give media statements.
At the end of his visit, Medvedev will attend a solemn academy at the Sava Center to mark the 75th anniversary of Belgrade's liberation in World War II.
