Tanja Fajon, the Chair of the European Parliament Delegation to EU-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee, said on Thursday that there was no room in Europe for denials of crimes, commenting on the promotion of “Tuzla’s Gate – Directed Tragedy” about the wartime in Bosnia by Ilija Brankovic in Belgrade, the Beta news agency reported.

The book was promoted on Tuesday night at an Army of Serbia house in Belgrade, organised by the country’s Defence Ministry.

Fajon added that all those who wanted to do that would have to take responsibility for the stability in the region.

“Every positive step toward the reconciliation in the Balkans is important. But the denial of the Srebrenica genocide, and everything aimed at promoting divisions, conflicts, additional tensions, nationalism – has no place in Europe,” Fajon told Radiosarajevo.ba.
