There are no citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina currently staying in China's city of Wuhan that is affected the most with coronavirus, according to Bosnia's Foreign Affairs Ministry.
Spokesperson Nebojsa Regoje confirmed for Anadolu news agency that Bosnian citizens who were earlier staying in that area are now out of it.
“We have a number of our nationals in other parts of China. The Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina is maintaining contact with all of them. Our Embassy is also keeping contact through social networks and through direct communication in Beijing,” said Regoje.
Nobody has reached to the Embassy yet in regard to the coronavirus issue, he added.
So far, 132 persons died in China after the virus outbreak and some 6,000 have been infected.
Outside of China, the cases have been reported in Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, France, Canada, USA, Australia and Germany.
Total of 9,239 coronavirus infection cases have been reported worldwide so far.
