Sarajevo Canton's government ousted by new majority

Sarajevo Canton's government had lost the confidence vote in the Assembly, on Wednesday, with 18 votes in favour of their dismissal and 15 against.

During the January 20th meeting, two political bloc in the Assembly consisting of the Democratic Action Party (SDA), Alliance for a Better Future (SBB) and Democratic Front (DF) – or the new majority, on the one side, and People and Justice (NiP), Our Party (NS), Independent Bosnian List (NBL) and independent deputies on the other, agreed that Danijela Krstic (NiP) should preside over this session.

The new majority had earlier said that they will form the new government by the end of February.

The Wednesday vote was preceded by the now outgoing Prime Minister Edin Forto and the Veterans Affairs Minister Ismir Jusko's speech.
