Largest Russian journalists’ organization calls for end to pressure on N1

“The Russian Union of Journalists stands in solidarity with professional community opinion that the state-owned cable operators' decision to drop N1 is an attempt to silence a critical voice in Serbia,” the organization said on its Twitter profile.  

“We call for a stop to the constant pressure on Serbian channel N1 TV,” it added.

The non-profit Russian Union of Journalists is the largest professional organization of journalists in Russia, with more than 70,000 members.
