The representatives of Belgrade and Pristina signed a ‘statement of intent’ on restoring the railway transport and building a motorway linking two capitals in Munich on Friday, according to Serbia’s President Instagram account, the Beta news agency reported.
“President Vucic witnessed today in Munich the signing of the statement of intent to re-establish the railway corridor Belgrade – Pristina and the statement of intent to construct the Belgrade-Pristina motorway,” the post said.
It quoted Vucic as describing the event as “very important to Serbs” living in the northern part of Kosovo.
Apart from Vucic, other officials present at the signing included Kosovo's President, Hashim Thaci, US President Donald Trump’s Special Envoy for Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and US ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell, and the US ambassador to Serbia, Antony Godfrey.

Earlier, under Grenell's auspices, Belgarde and Pristina had agreed to restore the air traffic between the two cities.
