The Bosnian Serb member of the country's tripartite Presidency, Milorad Dodik, sent a letter to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic expressing his full support ahead of Sunday's elections in Serbia.
In his letter to Vucic, who leads the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), Dodik said he was “pleased to address Vucic and thank him for being the president who made Serbia stable, economically powerful, internationally respected, infrastructurally developed, which lives better day by day.“
Dodik, who is also the leader of the ruling Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) in Bosnia's Serb-majority Republika Srpska (RS) entity, said that the cooperation between Serbia and RS has always existed, but that it increased even more after Vucic came to power in Serbia.
Besides the ruling parties in RS, almost all opposition parties and their leaders sent messages of support to Vucic and his SNS for Sunday's elections.
