The people from nine Balkan cities will hold simultaneous gatherings on February 28 to send a message that they are united in the fight for clean air and healthy environment, the Belgrade Don’t Let Belgrade Drown Initiative said on Tuesday.

The rallies will be held in Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Montenegro.

They will simultaneously start at 6 pm in Belgrade, Sarajevo, Pristina, Banja Luka, Skopje, Prizren, Zenica, Podujevo and Podgorica.

“Clean air is a fundamental human right, and we demand from all individuals and institutions to immediately act to prevent unforeseeable long-lasting consequences to the health of the Balkan people,” the message from all rallies will read.
