After Canadian PM Justin Trudeau went into self-quarantine because of the coronavirus, the Chairman of Bosnia’s tripartite Presidency who met with him this week, Zeljko Komsic, followed suit.
“Today we returned from the trip. If necessary, we will be checked and act according to the instructions issued by the competent institutions. We will be in self-isolation until we are tested,” Komsic said after returning from Canada on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Trudeau’s wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, tested positive for COVID-19.
Komsic and Trudeau met Wednesday to discuss the relations between the two countries as well as foreign trade, investments, strengthening democracy and social and economic development.
There are currently 11 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bosnia.
