The tiny coastal Republic of Montenegro with some 600,000 inhabitants is the only European country without a single case of COVID-19 infection, while Myanmar, with 54 million people is the most populated state that coronavirus has ‘avoided’ so far, according to the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Those are the other countries around the world still not affected by the new coronavirus pandemic: East Timor, Jemen, Kirgistan, Laos, Myanmar, North Korea, Syria, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan in Asia:
Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Gambia, Guinea Bissau, Eritrea, Zambia, Cape Verde, Zimbabwe, South Sudan, Komori, Lesotho, Lybia, Madagascar, Malavi, Mali, Mauritius, Mozambique, Niger, Sao Tome and Principe, Siera Leone, Eswatini, Uganda, Chad, and Djibouti in Africa;
Vanuatu, Kiribati, Marshal Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Fiji in Australia and Oceania.
