Bosnia's Security Minister Fahrudin Radoncic and Croatia's Interior Minister Davor Bozinovic have agreed and facilitated the transit of Croatian citizens through the south Bosnian city of Neum, after a telephone call on problems in the movement of goods and citizens that were caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Minister Bozinovic confirmed this on Thursday at a press conference in Zagreb, emphasizing that the passage of Croatian citizens through the Neum Corridor will continue with ID cards, and even that thanks to the agreed measures, the passage of passengers through this part of Bosnia will be accelerated.

Minister Bozinovic played an important role in the unblocking of Bosnian trucks that were also blocked until the corridor for the smooth passage of goods destined for Bosnia and Herzegovina was determined, Bosnian Security Ministry's statement said.

Bosnia's only seaside city of Neum cuts through the Croatian territory in the sough-most part of the country. This, in turn, means that Croatian citizens, goods and others must cross the Bosnian border twice before getting from one part of the country to the other.
