A third patient infected with the coronavirus has died at Ljubljana's University Hospital Medical Centre, the Slovenian health ministry confirmed on Monday, saying that the total number of people infected with the disease now stands at 414.
The latest victim is a 67-year-old man who had been suffering from a number of underlying conditions.
The previous two victims were an elderly man who had other chronic conditions and a 90-year-old woman.
According to Sunday's data, so far 55 people have been hospitalised due to the disease, ten of whom are in intensive care.
Montenegro reports first virus-related fatality
Montenegro has reported its first virus-related death on Sunday. The victim was a 65-year-old man who had recently travelled to Serbia. He suffered from chronic respiratory problems and had tested positive for the virus upon his admission to the Montenegrin clinical centre in Podgorica.
On Sunday evening, 22 cases of the disease were confirmed in the country.
