The OSCE official in charge of media freedom expressed concern on Thursday over the arrest of Serbian journalist Ana Lalic over her report on the situation in the Vojvodina Clinical Center.
OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Harlem Desir said on his Twitter account that he is alarmed by the arrest, especially the seizure of her laptop and mobile phones.
Alarmed by yesterday’s arrest of @novars journalist @AnaLalicNS for her reporting on #COVID19 in #Serbia. Despite being released today, it is very problematic that police seized her laptop and mobile phones. Journalists need to be able to do their job freely.
