Bosnia's special police forces arrested Darko Mrdja, on Friday, sentenced to 20 in prison by a Bosnian Court for crimes against humanity, committed during the 1992-1995 war in Bosnia, State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) told N1.
‘Conducting a series of operational and tactical measures and actions, SIPA officers located the aforementioned person who was sought by the Court and for whom an international Interpol arrest warrant was issued,” Sipa said.
Mrdja was arrested in the north-western city of Bosnia's Serb-dominated entity of Republika Srpska.
He will be handed over to the Foca penetentary for further processing, SIPA added.
