Kosovo's Health Minister Arben Vitia said on Monday the Government introduced new stricter restrictions of movement allowing people an hour and a half walk a day with an ID on them, the Beta news agency reported

The measure will be in place as of April 15 at 6 am.

“We decided to introduce further measures to prevent the spreading of coronavirus. The respective institutions will control the full implementation of these measures,” Vitia said.

The movements are allowed for food and medicines shopping and bank services, only.

“That can last an hour and a half and the timetable will be decided based on the last number of an ID. Foreigners will have to carry passports,” he added.

Kosovo on Monday reported 362 new cases of coronavirus infection.
