CORONAVIRUS Update: Six dead, 222 tested positive in Serbia in 24 hours
Serbia’s Crisis Team said on Tuesday that six people, three men and three women, died from COVID-19 in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of dead to 168, N1 reported.
The number of recovered patients reached 1,260 since the official start of the epidemic on March 6.
They said that 5,446 people were tested in the last 24 hours, and 222 patients were infected with the coronavirus until 3 pm on Tuesday,
A total of confirmed cases of coronavirus is 8,497 among 73,363 tested.
To date, 2,517 COVID-19 patients are being treated in hospitals, including 79 who are on respirators.
The percentage of infected people in Serbia’s population is 0,12 percent, while the mortality rate is 1,98 percent.
