A message honouring nurses was displayed over the facade of Sarajevo’s Dr. Abdulah Nakas General Hospital on Tuesday, International Nurses Day.

“Happy International Day and Year of Nurses-Technicians and Midwives. Once all this is over, we will remember that you were there for us,” said the message.

There are more than 30 million nurses and medical technicians across the world and about 20,000 in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
