In the last 24 hours six new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Croatia and two more people have died, the national civil protection authority said on Friday.
“There have been six new cases in the last 24 hours, which puts the total number of infections at 2,243,” a member of the authority, Maja Grba-Bujevic, told reporters.
The two latest casualties are a man born in 1963, who died in the Split Hospital, and a man born in 1977, who died in the Zagreb Hospital for Infectious Diseases.
The Covid-19 death toll now stands at 99.
So far 59,911 people have been tested, including 1,820 in the last 24 hours.
A total of 102 patients are being treated in hospitals, 15 fewer than on Thursday, and five are on ventilators.
The total number of recoveries stands at 2,011 and there are currently 132 active infections. A total of 471 people are in self-isolation.
