Coronavirus is a dangerous one and it is easy to underestimate it, Special Envoy of the World Health Organisation's Director-General on Covid-19 David Nabarro said in an interview for N1.
The new virus results in a high mortality rate, the expert on Covid-19 warned, adding that the virus will not leave so soon.
The WHO's official also commended the Western Balkan countries for a successful response to the coronavirus crisis successfully in terms of the number of those infected and the fatalities.
As for the Covid-19 vaccine and a possibility of its discovery in the near future, Nabarro said he believes the vaccine is still a few years away and that the world better learns how to live with Covid-19 as a constant threat.
