Serbian Embassy: 14 percent of registered voters voted in Sarajevo by 10 am

Serbian Embassy in Sarajevo said that 14 percent of all the registered voters in this city have voted by 10 am Sunday, in parliamentary elections held in that country.

The commission overseeing the election process in Sarajevo said that 641 persons residing in Sarajevo have the right to vote during the parliamentary election in Serbia and that 66 people have already cast their ballots.

The polling station in the Embassy was opened at 7 am Sunday and it ill close at 8 pm.

Serbia is holding parliamentary, provincial and local elections during which 6,583,665 citizens will have the right to vote for their representatives in the state Assembly, Vojvodina Province Parliament and councillors at local self-government.

Serbian diaspora, on the other hand, will only have the right to vote for the state Parliament.

The preliminary results will be known during the night, the election watchdog said, adding that final results will be known by June 25, at 8 pm, at the latest.
