Bosnia reports record-breaking 331 new cases of Covid-19, and six deaths

Bosnian health authorities reported record-breaking 324 new Covid-19 cases, 190 from the Bosniak-Croat shared Federation (FBiH) entity and 134 from the Serb-dominated Republika Srpska (RS) entity, over the past 24 hours. Brcko District also reported seven new cases. The authorities also reported six virus-related fatalities.

The FBiH health authorities said they tested 1,209 samples of which 190 came back positive. The entity also recorded five virus-related fatalities.

The RS health authorities said they tested 653 samples of which 134 tested positive for SARS-COV-2. This entity recorded no virus-related fatalities.

the authorities in the northern Brcko District, not dominated by either of the three constituent peoples reported seven new cases and one fatality caused by Covid.19.

Wednesday's number of positive Covid-19 cases is a new daily record for Bosnia.

The country now officially has 9,115 positive cases of which 4,159 recovered and 268 had died.
