Bosnia sees 16 deaths and 173 new cases of Covid-19

Bosnian health authorities reported 171 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, 73 from the Federation (FBiH) entity, and 98 from Republika Srpska (RS) entity. The authorities added there were 16 virus-related fatalities in the country.

The FBiH health authorities said they tested 596 samples of which 73 came back positive. The entity recorded 10 virus-related fatalities.

The RS health officials said they tested 519 samples for the disease, of which 98 showed positive results. This entity recorded six virus-related fatalities.

Brcko District said they recorded two new Covid-19 patients over the past 24 hours.

The city with the most reported cases was once again Sarajevo where 32 positive results were reported.

According to the Civil Affairs Ministry, the country recorded 14,498 positive cases since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 8,159 recovered and 425 had died.
