Health authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina have reported 122 new coronavirus cases and four more deaths due to COVID-19 on Sunday, a sharp decline when compared to previous days even when taking into account that fewer people were tested, while the number of daily recoveries often outnumbers the number of new cases.
The Public Health Institute in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) region said that 84 of the 831 samples tested since Saturday were positive for the virus and that three more people passed away due to the disease.
In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 38 of the 210 people tested were positive and one person died due to COVID-19.
About 21,500 people have tested positive for the virus across the country in total so far and more than 14,600 of them meanwhile recovered.
More than 650 people have died due to COVID-19 in Bosnia and Herzegovina since the virus came to the country.
