A total of 290 people have tested positive for the coronavirus and six died due to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours in Bosnia and Herzegovina, health authorities reported on Friday.
Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) region tested 1,526 people since Thursday and the results of 194 of them came back positive, while three people passed away due to the disease.
The other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), tested 560 people and confirmed 95 new coronavirus cases as well as three COVID-19 deaths.
According to the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the total number of people who tested positive for the virus so far in Bosnia is 22,834, of which more 15,672 have recovered.
A total of 686 people have passed away due to COVID-19 in Bosnia and Herzegovina so far and there are currently more than 6,476 active COVID-19 cases in the country.
