The Prime Minister of Bosnia's Federation (FBiH) entity, Fadil Novalic, said in an interview with FTV that another 100 million Bosnian marks will be used to help the hardest-hit sectors of the economy and pointed out that thanks to government measures, 10,000 jobs have been returned since May, Fena news agency reported on Sunday.

He assessed that the creation of the “Mini-Schengen” in the region is a good idea from the economic point of view.

“Market expansion is a good thing, but we have quite bad experiences with the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA), where we are witnessing a series of administrative bans on the flow of our goods to our neighbours,” Novalic said.

According to him, the FBiH entity government was supposed to pay an advance for the purchase of Covid-10 vaccines but the payment was postponed to the end of the year.

Novalić specified that the Government planned the procurement of 800,000 doses of the said vaccine.

He noted that another 100 million Bosnian marks will be used to help the most severely affected sectors of the economy such as tourism, catering, exports, transport and airports.

The FBiH Government even formed a Guarantee Fund whose purpose is to stimulate commercial banks in crediting the economy.
