The film ‘Quo Vadis, Aida’, by renowned Bosnian filmmaker Jasmila Zbanic, will be competing in the 57th International Antalya Film Festival, which will take place between October 3 and 10.
Organisers revealed that the 10 films selected for the International Feature Film Competition will be considered by a jury comprising Turkish writer-director, Emin Alper, Romanian producer, Ada Solomon, Artistic Director of the Tribeca and Les Arcs European Film Festivals, Frederic Boyer, Iranian actor-director, Niki Karimi, and Brazilian video artist, director and screenwriter, Sandra Kogut.
Zbanic’s latest film will compete against the films ‘The Big Hit’ by Emmanuel Courcol, ‘Preparations to be Together for an Unknown Period of Time’ by Lili Horvat, ‘Ladies of Steel’ by Pamela Tola, ‘Yalda, a Night for Forgiveness’ by Massoud Bakhshi, ‘200 Meters’ by Ameen Nayfeh, ‘In Nowhere Special’ by Uberto Pasolini, “The Ties“ režisera Daniele Luchetti, ‘Listen’ by Ana Roche de Sousa and ‘Gaza Mon Amour’ by brothers Arab and Tarzan Nasser.
