Health authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina reported on Wednesday that 343 people tested positive for the coronavirus across the country since the day before and that 12 more people died due to COVID-19.
The Public Health Institute of Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) region said that 270 of the 1,591 samples tested in the past 24 hours were positive and 11 people passed away due to the disease.
In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 73 people tested positive of the 629 tested and one person died due to COVID-19.
A total of 26,081 people tested positive for the coronavirus in Bosnia and Herzegovina and 18,634 of them recovered so far.
The COVID-19 death toll is now 790.
There are currently 6,657 active coronavirus cases in the country.
