Bakir Izetbegovic, the leader of Bosniak main party SDA, said Wednesday he was invited to meet Croatian President Zoran Milanovic but that he was not going to accept the invitation unless Milanovic met Bosnia Presidency members first.
“I won’t accept it before the hierarchy in Bosnia and Herzegovina is obeyed. It should first be the Presidency or the Presidency Chairman, or Mr Milanovic should come here first and then I will gladly meet him,” Izetbegovic told N1.
The Bosniak leader earlier slammed Milanovic for inviting only Serb Presidency member Milorad Dodik, who accepted the invitation and travelled to Zagreb but later said he was there as a representative of the Serb people.
But, Izetbegovic did accept the invitation of Croatia’s Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic earlier this week and met him along with Bosnian Croat leader Dragan Covic.
