Bosnia's best tennis player Damir Dzumhur advanced to the quarterfinals of the ATP Challenger tournament in Barcelona.
In the second round of the €44,820 tournament, Dzumhur defeated the Belgian Kimmer Coppejans with 6:2, 6:3 and won a place among the top eight players.
In the semifinal match, the 28-year-old from Sarajevo will play with the winner of the match between Maxime Janvier (Fra) and Alessandro Giannessi (Ita).
Dzumhur also plays in the doubles competition at this tournament. In the first round, paired with Australian Andrew Harris, he plays Wednesday against the Brazilian-Portuguese combination Rafael Matos and Pedro Sousa.
