A face mask designed by Sasenko Sadikovic from the southern town Ljubuski was awarded as the best innovation at the '5th Istanbul International Fair of Innovations' in Istanbul among 111 competitors from 15 countries, Fena news agency reported.
Sadikovic's ‘safe anti-virus mask’ also received the third award for the product quality, being a mask that allows easy breathing, while preventing viruses from staying long on and inside its fabrics.
The world's research laboratories offered more of such materials to the market during the first nine months of this year than in several previous decades.
Also, two electrical engineers from Trebinje, another southern town in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Svetozar Basara and Dalibor Basara, won a silver medal for “Mechanical AC-DC converter and generator of different frequencies.
