A consortium of Siemens Games Renewable Energy Croatia and Wind Power Denmark have installed the first of 15 wind turbines for a future wind farm near Mostar, southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, the country's Elektroprivreda power company said on Friday.
The Bosnian power company is investing €69 million in the project. When operational, the expected annual electricity output will be 130 GWh.
Elektropriveda's executive director for capital investment, Senad Salkic, said that all the turbines were expected to be installed by the end of the year.
The construction is being financed with a loan from the German development bank KfW.
