Bosnia and Herzegovina has logged 559 new coronavirus infection cases over the last 24 hours, recording a slight drop compared to previous days when the number of tested lab samples was also higher, according to healthcare authorities.
The Federation (FBiH) region confirmed 379 new Covid-19 patients out of 946 of those tested, bringing the total on its territory to 22,209. To this date, 17,262 patients in this part of Bosnia have recovered (166 in the last 24 hours) and 626 died, leaving 4,321 cases currently active.
The FBiH healthcare authorities performed 181,407 coronavirus tests since the epidemic outbreak.
Republika Srpska (RS) region performed 510 lab tests over the last 24 hours and reported 177 new patients. The region also reported three new fatalities, bringing the death toll in this part of the country to 337. The total of 11,557 Covid-19 patients has been reported in the region, with 7,443 of those who have recovered to this date.
So far, the RS healthcare authorities have tested 89,613 patients.
Brkcko District, a separate administrative unit in the north, has reported three new Covid-19 patients, 354 in total.
