North Macedonia’s Health Ministry said on Sunday that another 856 people tested positive for the coronavirus and 10 passed away due to COVID-19 in the country in the past 24 hours.

A total of 2,449 people were tested since Saturday in North Macedonia and according to the results, the majority of the newly confirmed infections are in Skopje – 397.

A total of 1,004 people have died due to COVID-19 in North Macedonia so far. The country has registered 32,436 infections since the beginning of the epidemic and currently has 10,342 active coronavirus cases.

According to the Public Health Institute, 350 patients have recovered since Saturday and 21,090 so far in total.

North Macedonia has conducted 251,848 coronavirus tests so far.
