Bosnia confirms 1,180 new coronavirus cases, 1,145 patients recovered

Another 1,180 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday, bringing the total of currently active cases in the country to 33,573, according to authorities.

The new results came out of 3,774 lab test for coronavirus.

The country has confirmed the total of 76,757 infections since the epidemic outbreak. Of that number, 48,822 cases were reported in the Federation (FBiH), 26,567 in Republika Srpska (RS) and 1,368 in Brcko District (BD) – three separate administrative units running their healthcare systems independently.

The recovery of 1,145 Covid-19 patients has been confirmed since the last update on Wednesday.

To this date, 2,153 fatalities were reported among Covid-19 patients, 64 in the last 24 hours.

The total of 386,780 lab tests has been conducted in the country since the epidemic outbreak and 41,031 patients have recovered.
