Coronavirus: Fifty-four deaths, 7,804 newly infected in Serbia
According to Serbia’s Health Ministry’s data on Wednesday, 54 patients died from COVID-19-related complications over the last 24 hours, while out of 22,316 people tested, 7,804 were confirmed infected with the coronavirus.
The death toll stood at 2,116, with a mortality rate of 0.87 percent.
Out of 1,958,473 people tested, 241,831 were positive for the virus since the epidemic outbreak in March.
On Wednesday, 8,489 patients were hospitalised, and 319 of them on ventilators.
